
Researcher, lecturer, journalist, editor, translator, creative writer – poetry and short stories – and performer. Rosane Carneiro holds a master’s degree in Brazilian Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and specialisations in both Environment and Publishing Management. After working in journalism and editorial coordination in Brazil for two decades, she obtained a doctorate in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies from King’s College London (KCL). Rosane is currently a research associate at the University of Bristol and a lecturer in Portuguese at KCL, having also worked in research and teaching at the universities of Edinburgh, Exeter and Aston.
